Hi, I’m Nikki
I created Finding Your New Normal as a space to rebuild, reconnect, and move forward gently and without any pressure or expectation.
Through adaptive, accessible and trauma-informed yoga, I support you in finding a way of moving that truly works for your body.
My Classes
Whether you prefer to do yoga from home or in a shared space, there are a few ways to practise together.
-
Online Classes
Join live online from the comfort of your own space. These classes are designed to help you slow down, build strength, and feel more at home in your body.
-
1:1 Sessions
Personalised support, tailored to you.
1:1 in-person sessions offer space to focus entirely on your needs, whether that’s building confidence, working with an injury, or deepening your practice. -
Chair Yoga Course
In-person taster sessions available at the end of May, followed by a 6-week course in a welcoming, community-focused environment.
Accessible Yoga for Every Body
My approach to yoga is shaped by lived experience . After multiple strokes caused by Cavernoma , I had to relearn how to navigate my body, my limits, and my life. Yoga became a space where I could process that change, adapt to what my body needed, and begin again without pressure or expectation.
Community Pot
This is a community-supported space, built on the belief that yoga should be accessible to everyone.
If you’re able to, you can contribute towards the community pot to support someone else’s place. If you need support, it’s there for you, no questions asked.
Take what you need, give what you can.
When you book a class, you’ll be invited to choose from a range of pricing options designed to support the community, so you can choose what feels financially accessible for you, or give a little extra if you’re able to.
How it Works

-

What is Accessible Yoga?
My classes are designed to support you in a way that respects your needs and your pace.
You’ll always be given choices, so you can take part in a way that works for you. That might mean being seated, lying down, standing, or simply resting and listening.
You can do yoga in a way that suits you, with a chair or a mat. If you like, you can use props to support your practice.
-

A yoga mat
A yoga mat provides a non-slip surface to help you feel stable and supported during your practice.
-

A sturdy chair
You can stay seated or use a chair for extra support with balance.
-

A cosy blanket
Perfect if you fancy some added comfort, support, or warmth - especially during rest and relaxation.
-

Yoga blocks
Helpful for bringing the floor closer to you and making certain poses more accessible.
Kind Words
Community and Connection
I believe in giving back to the community and making yoga accessible to everyone.
Alongside my regular classes, I work with small charities and community groups to offer tailored sessions for people who can benefit from the supportive, healing aspects of yoga. These collaborations are a meaningful part of my work and something I’m always looking to grow.
If you’re part of a charity, organisation, or community initiative and would like to explore working together, I’d love to hear from you.
Your Practice, Your Pace
Whether your energy is low, your symptoms change day to day, or you’re simply exploring something new, you are welcome here.
All of my teaching is adaptive, accessible and trauma-informed. I guide each session gently, always offering options so you can choose what feels right for you.
